    This is really nice ! Is the handle part separated from the body ?
    When do you make the decision to split the object in different parts ? Is it when you know that there is a different material of for animation purposes ?

      Thanks Julian, the handle is separate from the body and was modelled separately too. If I do split it’s generally when i need to add detail. There’s a great section on splitting geometry in MILG 11 Hard Surface Modelling Tactics for Cinema 4D 😉

    Nice. I like the double layer paint. Did you use a material from the Substance Share site? If so what’s it called? I’m curious to know how you achieved the three layers from green-grey-black (or metal).

      Hi Greg, I used standard materials. layering the paint was just a case of using multiple layers and painting in the wear.
