Suggested for this Experiment
- CC Bubbles
For this experiment I decided to start with type as the source layer. The main effect is CC Bubbles, which I’ve used in the past but never applied directly to type, and had no idea how it would look. To my surprise I got an interesting, organic look pretty much out of the box. With a bit of tweaking, the addition of CC Wide Time and Compound Blur and Displacement Map to help integrate the type, it started to look pretty sweet.

I came back to it the next day and added Gradient Ramp, Glow and Sapphire S_Glow and S_BokehLights and am really happy with the result. Take a look at the project and see what you can come up with. If you don’t have Sapphire you can download a free trial or try some different effects but be sure to focus on CC Bubbles.
That looks pretty sweet John!
Thanks Matthew.
That was a good jumping off point for an experiment. Thanks for the inspiration.
That looks great Kyle!
I have a question. In the project file on the text it looks like you used outlines. I was just wondering why this technique for the text?
Hi Sharell, just in case users don’t have the font I used on their system.
Best, John.
