    I really like the style of the text! I’ve tried a couple times to create this “bumpy metal” style, but I can never get the bump map quite right… I guess I’ll have to get MovieType so I can see the tutorial on how you achieved this! 😀

    John, did you have the optical flare set so as to be occluded by the type layer?

      Hi John,

      Yes. I chose the type layer as “Layer 1” in “Foreground Layers”. That way I get a natural reveal of the flare as the type passes in front of it, without the need for masking etc. Best wishes, John.
