After Effects pioneer trainer Brian Maffitt (@bmaffitt) has created some stunning imagery by pointing a projector into a blizzard and recording the result. Not surprisingly the imagery is making waves online and reminds us all of how great it is to have Brian as part of our industry.

Hi John. Nice to hear an Aussie accent with your online tutorials. I just wanted to say thank you for your inspiring tutorials. I have started using AE only in the past year and still a novice. But I have amazed my family and friends with what I have learned to date thanks to both you and Andrew Kramer. I actually now look at the FX when watching a movie and try to replicate it… Thanks for all your inspiring videos and tutorials that has brought back some passion to someone in their mid 40′s
