Hi malty, and thanx for this new tip
Could you just be a little more specific about the range and the unit of the colors please ?
With the wiggle expression, colors are taken into account, or mapped, into the range of 0 to 1, you mentionned.
So why do you input 2 ? Does it mean, the color is going above the 1 limit ? And does it mean, after 1, the color is spinning around the 360 ° of the color wheel, like in colorama for example and is going on another spin ? (Hope i make myself clear with this point
And does the color parameter in the wiggle expression is working exactly the same and within the same range (0, 1) in 8, 16 and 32 bpc ?
Thanx

Very good questions. The colors are indeed represented in the range of 0 to 1, as if they would only work in 32bpc, but in fact this range is for all depths.
I’ve put 2 in the wiggle so the changes would be more dramatic (more obvious to the eye). Of course the colors do not spin, they just become overbright or superdark – just like in 32bpc, but since we were working in 8bpc in the tutorial you couldn’t really tell.
Hope that helps.
